A 31 day cycle is a normal length. Most women will ovulate 12-16 days before their next period is due. But keep in mind that every women and even every cycle is different. I agree with the others, you should use OPKs or chart your fertility signs in order to better pinpoint your ovulation.

I had really long irregular cycles and the only way I knew when I was ovulating was to use Opks and my fertility monitor. I don't really consider 31 days a really long cycle (I had some cycles that were over 45 days and some ladies on here have had longer ones than that). THe only way to know is to chart. Good luck:0)

A online calculator or app won't be able to tell you when YOU ovulate. Every woman is different. If you want to really know if and when you are ovulating you'll need to use some method next cycle to determine ovulation such as OPKs or taking BBTs.
