In serious need of all of your opinions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Today m.y doctor suspects I PCOS. I have a pelvic ultrasound scheduled for tomorrow but she also prescribed provera to see if it will start my period. Here is my problem according to my bbt I may have O'd and could possibly be pregnant. I am either 6 or 8 dpo. Now should I start provera right away or wait a few days to see if I would happen to get a BFP and watch to see what my bbt does before I start. With my luck I am pregnant and if I start the provera it will cause a miscarriage......what do you ladies think I should do?????? My doc said since it was neg to start but I may not have even implanted yet!! Worried and confused :(

Let me preface this by saying this is only my opinion. We are not all doctors on here and so we don't always know what is the best course, but if you are not comfortable starting provera yet then I would wait a few days. I don't have PCOS so I don't know all of the ramifications of this, other than it can cause issues with TTC, but if there is no life-threatening reason for you to start the provera so soon, then I would wait. To me it is strictly a personal decision and only you know your body and what is best. Good luck to you and lots of baby dust.
