Question

After I get a positive OPK and then get a negative does that mean that ovulate will have occurred?

After I get a positive OPK and then get a negative does that mean that ovulate will have occurred? If it's going to occur

Not really. The LH hormone builds and will surge right before ovulation. Then 12-36 hours after usually the woman will ovulate. But....... lol always a but just becuase you got a + opk does not guarantee ovulation because maybe the body geared up but couldn't quite get there so it will try again at a later date. The LH surge usually lasts about 10 hours. Some women though can have positive opk's for a few days! What you are seeing is you caught the LH surge and now it has leveled off. So get busy bd'ing if you haven't already because if you're going to ovulate it will be within a day of the positive opk! Good luck :)
