Im sorry you are having to deal with this and are not getting any help for it. I had sorta the same issue, I have irregular long cycles and had what my dr called was abmornal mid cycle bleeding several times last year so she had me do tons of test some blood work and a pelvic ultra sound and they could never figure out why I bled when I did or why my cycles are so long. I hope you get the tests that you need soon to ease your mind. Good luck .

Since the bleeding started last cycle... my period has gotten longer. I went from 5 days to 7. More searching has led me to this happening when a woman is on Depo. I have never been on it so that is out.
Went to the hospital last night and after 12 hours I was told to take Midol and come back if I soak a pad in one hour. WTF?!
There are no woman's clinics near me or any urgent care. Should I go back to the hospital and demand testing? What should I ask for? It is hard to get proper care in my state so you kinda have to be mean to the docs to get them to do what you need done. If not you get what I just got.... "take this and pay us $850.00 for the 10 min we spent on you. Never mind the 12 hours... that's on us."

I read somewhere that orgasms cause your uterus to contract which can actually SHORTEN your period length because of it basically "forcing it out quicker". Perhaps this is something along the same lines?
