I am not sure, but just wanted to say how sorry I am of your loss, and big hugs your way.

I'm sorry about your loss, hope you do get a BFP soon and the little one sticks with you for all of the 9 months and you have your perfect bundle of joy in 2011. As for the question, I dont know the answer, just wanted to tell you to have faith and that warm hugs are sent your way...

Every one is different. I had to have a D&E because my TVC failed and we had no choice but to deliver our son at 16 weeks gestation. My body stayed on track and I had my period exactly 28 days later. I also had a transabdominal cerclage placed for my next pregnancy and my period came exactly when it was suppose to then as well. But after a D&C, cycles will usually return 4 to 6 weeks later.
I am sorry for your loss, I too can relate. The pain doesn't ever go away but it does get easier. We lost our son in August and I still think about him everyday.

I am sorry for your loss. I had a d&c on Nov 1 2010, twin babies had died at 12 to 13 weeks. My period returned on Dec 10.

So sorry for your loss....

After my 2nd trimester loss my period returned to normal almost immediately. After the initial bleeding (around 3-4 weeks) my period returned 28 days to the day after that. I ovulated as well because I had the same pains in my ovary.

it has been 34 days since my loss and D & C. and i still have not gotten my AF back. but if i do not get it by the time i go and see my obgyn on jan 20th then i will take a test( as we have been sexually active again since).

it was 35 days after my ectopic pregancy that my af came back and 40 days after i had my DS #2 (june 09) to come back.

I have had two stillbirths one at 22 weeks and the other at 37 and a half weeks. With each one I had bleed for about 3 - 4 weeks after and then with my first loss my regular period came back 32 days after my loss and this time it came back 37 days after my loss. I know how frustrating it is to wait until it comes back. My doctor told me not to worry until I had gone about 10 - 12 weeks without getting it. I hope it comes soon :)

i only bleed for maybe a week after my loss and D & C. today i am one day over 6 weeks pp and no AF yet.

well today marks 8 weeks since my loss of kyler. and my first af came today since then. dr gave the go ahead today to start trying. i did tell her we were already actively trying and she was okay with that. next time i get pg she is gonna monitor me very closely. suppose to phone when i get a BFP. ( and they never found anything to explain why kyler passed away in utero.) guess he was to BEAUTIFUL FOR EARTH
