Cramping for days, need help!

I have been having period like cramps since the last day of my period, which was brown then it turned to a light pink. I went to the doctor and it is not a bladder infection or kiddney problems. The pain gets worst at night. I was suppose to go for an ultra sound but I could not get out of work. The doctor took a pregnancy test but I have not heard anything yet, so I am not sure if they have the results yet. Have any of you experience this, and if so what was it? I don't think I am pregnant because I did just have a cycle. what do you think?
