Question

Could I be pregnant?

My last period began Nov. 24. I had intercourse on Dec. 4, and again on Dec. 7. My breasts have been sore and tender for about a week and I feel full in my lower abdomen. I've also felt light-headed and feel kinda "off" after I eat. I also feel hungry, or empty, even if I've just finished eating. My joints have been kind of achey for the past 2 days as well. I wasn't worried about pregancy until my sister mentioned it to me. She said tender breasts was the first thing she noticed about her pregnancy, and she always felt hungry. I reckon my next period should happen next week...Can you tell if you're pregnant before you miss a period?

You can take an early pregnancy test. The First Response Early Results test you can take 5 up to days before your missed period (although it's more accurate the closer your get to your period). Otherwise, lots of the symptoms associated with pregnancy are also associated with your period. The only way to know for sure is to do a HPT or get bloodwork done. Sounds like you could be, but no way to know for certain based on that alone.
