What is a HCG trigger????

hi everyone....was just wondering wot it was ive just finished a 4 month round of clomid now been transferred to a bigger hospital for further treatment but noticed some women have had the HSG shot along with clomid and was wondering what it was???xx

well the HCG shot it a shot to trigger ovulation. It is the hormone that shows up on a pregnancy test! After the shot you usually ovulate 12-36 hours later!! Hope this helps!
