Is This Normal Or Should I Be Worried?
Hello Everyone .. Today I Found Out That I am pregnant.. (: i will be 7 weeks as of tomoro, ok so i started spotting as of saturday but it has been on and off and only when i go to the bathroom. lately i am having trouble sleeping because i cant get comfortable. i cramp a little but it goes away when i drink water. my doctor told me that this was normal and that i should keep drinking water. and because the spotting does not come with severe cramping he told me not worry that i am a new mom that i am just being paranoid. i just want to know if anyone else went thru this and if you went to have a healthy normal pregnancy. iam afraid that i am just stressing about things i shouldnt stress about. this is my first pregnancy someone PLEASE HELP ME !!

As your dr said, its common. Many pregnant women experience light cramping, mostly just because there is something growing in your uterus making it expand. Spotting is also common, and as long as it isn't heavy, bright or clotty, you should be fine. Just take your doctors advice, they have a medical degree! Try to relax and enjoy your pregnancy! Congratulation!

I had spotting in all my pregnancies I have 4 kids and have had one m/c....my m/c bleeding was constant pink spotting for a week and then it started pouring bright red blood :( I never cramped in that pregnancy
My kids I had pink, red, and brown spotting and did cramp slightly in my groin area, but turned out fine...my daughter I had to be put on progesterone shots because I got pregnant with her 2 weeks after my m/c and started bleeding
I know its so hard not to worry! But if your worried maybe they could take your betas and make sure that its doubling appropriately? They did that for me and it made me feel so much better...
some of my causes of spotting and bleeding were sex/ irratated cervix/ UTI/ yeast infection/ and with my last baby it was placenta previa at 19 weeks...I have had my share of worries ...but you sound like your having the normal pregancy symptoms...I was told if its brown though it was just your body clearing out old blood.
