Michelle,
I started using one last month, it was right on exactly with my high fertility days. I used the rest of my clear blue digital opks ( with the smiley face) and the monitor matched exactly to the opk. it was amazing and made me feel like I was in more control of what was going on. I still temp and that macthed too. I didn't concieve last month but I feel it's worth the money. I bought mine from ebay with the fertility monitor sticks for about $100 and bought a extra pack of 30 which lasts three months for $24 with free shipping on both. I don't see any reason to buy that new unless you feel you have too. Mine came inthe box and was brand new condition. I did clean it when I got it because I just wanted to make sure it was cleaned well. I have directions on how to do a hard reset on the machine that I would be happy to share. Over all I would say the monitor took some of the mystery out of my cycle and when I O'ed. Hope this has helped you.

Oh btw its really easy to use, you just turn it on everyday and it forwards to the current day in the cycle.

I loved my monitor. Got it off ebay for under $50 (with 1/2 a box of strips too). You can easily reset the monitor if you buy a used one (just google it and the reset instructions are there). I was able to get the strips on ebay much cheaper too with free shipping most of the time. I was TTC for a year and used the monitor the last 5 cycles of that year. The cycle I got pregnant we only BDed once on the first peak day:-) I will definitely use it next time around too:-) Good luck!!!!!

I also wanted to add, that I had very irregular cycles but the monitor always picked up my peak days (I like to POAS so I'd always verify with OPKs too and they were accurate). If your cycles are irregular, you may go through more test strips in a month, but I think it's worth it:-) I usually had to go through 20 strips each cycle, but my cycles ranged from 24 to 47 days (my LP was always the same though). So if yours aren't that bad you may not go through as many strips as I did.
