Question

Should bbt's be the same every month??

Should my bbt's be about the same every month or is it normal for them to vary? On cycle day 15 last month my temp was 97.1 and on this month's cycle day 15 it was 97.45. This is only my second month charting, but my temps seem to be all over the place and a little higher this month. So my question is are the actual temps supposed to be about the same each month or are you just looking for a difference of .4 degrees (no matter what the temps are) to determine ovulation? I hope that question made sense. Thanks for any input.

Your coverline will often be about the same each month (varies maybe .1-.3? or so). The actual temps aren't as important as any noticeable jump (.4-1 degree is great) at ovulation. But remember, if it's way hotter in your house one month from a previous month, your temps might be higher. If you get a stuffy nose and sleep with your mouth open more one month, they might be a bit lower. So it's not exact.
