The best research I've been for PCOS is Wobenzym - an enzyme you take 3 times a day on an empty stomach. Google it online. You can find this product in any health food store or whole foods. Good luck!

I found out in October that I have PCOS and the doctor put me on metformin and I got pregnant in November. I'm 28 and had never been pregnant so that speaks volumes. Unfortunately I had a miscarriage a month ago but now I know I can get pregnant. Good Luck and lots of Baby Dust to you.

I'm just really confused.. What will the doctor give me to help get pregnant.. I am having periods every month ish n have since I stopped taking pill

The doctor will probably put you on metformin or clomid. My doctor is having me use ovulation predictor kit strips this month and depending on if I ovulate or not he said he would put me on clomid so I'm guessing that would be the same for you.

Im only 20 so they dont want to putme on anything do you think i should wait another 3 4 months and go back an insist

I would definitely go back and have them put you on something to help you conceive because with PCOS it's so hard to get pregnant without assistance.

Are you in the UK? I would request that you have a blood test taken at around day 21. They are doing this for me to make sure i am actually ovulating. Clomid is the common medication I think. They will probably keep an eye on you and monitor any cysts. My friend has PCOS and she had surgery earlier this year to have several large cysts removed and had her ovaries drilled too. If you want a little boost, and you must need that! Do an internet search on the celebs who have PCOS and have babies, Victoria Beckham! And treat yourself (if you can) to some acupuncture or a massage here and there to help you relax. xx

I was diagnosed with PCOS (very mild) in November. We've been ttc for 18 months. I get my period almost every month but my cycles would range from 27 to 49 days. I tried Fertilaid for 3 months and my cycles were 28 days exactly for those 3 months but no BFP. I don't need Metformin, my doc just put me on Clomid days 3-7 for the first time (50mg). I am also trying the Clear Blue Easy Fertility Monitor, I've read that it works with PCOS and Clomid and I've read it doesn't. I figured I would try it anyway. I got a High reading yesterday (cd12) and today (cd13). The only issue I'm having is not real good CM. I started taking Mucsinex (sp?) 3 days ago twice a day and drinking a ton of water. Also bought preseed. Hope this is our month, we shall see!!!! Good luck to everyone! Baby Dust!

pcos is different for every woman. i have it but do not have cysts at all or many of the common side effects. only using opk sticks to track ovulation is not good enough because one of the most common occurences with women with have pcos is that there are multiple lh surges thrugh out any given cycle, in orther words you have get a positive opk on cd14 and the again on cd22 but that doesnt gurantee you ovulated on either of those days and definitely not on both. i would suggest taking your basal body temperature and tracking that for a few months to confirm if you actually ae ovulating or asking your doctor to do mid cycle ultra sounds to determine if follicles are indeed developing and if you're about to ovulate. I am 21 and have been on clomid for 2 cycles so your age really shouldn't be an issue. best of luck!
