No you cervix position cannot determine pregnancy. Sometimes it can be an indicator but on TTC websites it's clear that you should not use this as a "test." Also if it's your first time you have NO idea what it normally feels like. Your egg would JUST NOW be implanting so any symptoms prior were bc of the ovulation hormones. You only have like 4-5 days before you can test. Be patient.

Do you have anyother children? My cervix is ALWAYS low and medium soft until i O.. i have had 2 vaginal births and i read that your cervix will not necessarily be in text book location after childbirth. With that being said, when you are pregnant, your cervix is high. But usually not until 5 or 6 weeks! I wouldnt use your cervix as a hint to whether you are preg or not.

No this is the first time I have even thought I was pregnant. I know it sounds nuts but I feel pregnant. Im so anxious and excited! And I have heard that the progesterone can make u have symptoms even before hcg is in place.

Thank u, and thats the thing, we werent even trying. I didnt even know if I wanted a child until now. All the women in my family are very in tune with their bodies and my mother, and grandmother all knew they were pregnant before their missed period.

I am 9 weeks pregnant and mine still moves high and low. This is my third baby. It's actually not soft, it's puckered......tightly closed, not the normal closed.
