Question

SO CONFUSED! PLEASE HELP!

I am a healthy 20 year old female. My husband and I are TTC. I normally have regular periods. This month (January 2012) I was 6 days late. My periods normally last 4 days. I had the first day, normal. The second day, normal. The third day, heavy bleeding. The fourth day, light bleeding. Then, it stopped about half way thru the day. I had completely stopped then the next night I started again...its just spotting or a really light flow. I went to sleep, then nothing when I woke up. It had stopped again. Then, last night my husband and I were intimate and I realized I had the spotting/really light flow again. We went to sleep a few hours later, I woke up this morning and was fine. Then, a couple hours ago, I changed my clothes and I had the spotting/really light flow AGAIN! What is going on??!?! Could I be pregnant?

I have a problem where my period will stop then start up again. A healthy flow of period would be the first two days being one of the heaviest then going down to medium to light flow after that. The cause of mine is a hormone imbalance which can be regulated by taking medicine. I'm only 25 and my DH and I have been ttc for over 2 yrs. Ill be seeing an RE end of the month. Just because this happened to be my situation doesn't mean its what is wrong with you. BUT you also wouldnt be having that much of a flow if you were pregnant. Spotting is typical for two days but not a heavy/medium flow for a few days. If you suspect a problem with your cycle or have been ttc for over a year I suggest going to your dr to find out whats going on. It could be as simple as your diet.
