Category: Am I Pregnant?

Asked by a member

Q: TMI, 14 dpo and noticing very small amounts of yellow cm. Noticed it yesterday too. Anyone else...

...experienced yellow cm right before getting bfp? Or know of anyone who did? AF is due tomorrow and feels like it's coming... but I've never experienced yellow cm before and I don't have any infection.

I just read on one website that it can be a sign of pregnancy, however, I haven't seen any other reliable sources.

I haven't seen yellowish CM in awhile but right before I got AF last cycle, I got like a dry brownish discharge (but not like spotting brown). I had started taking FertileCM that day and I thought it might be that. That stuff, unless it was just a coincidence, dried me up, made me super sticky all the way until the day before O and gave me what i thought might be a yeast infection- but i think it just messed up my pH. Needless to say, I'm no longer taking it.

As for the yellow CM. Is it wet? I've noticed in my panties, that a 3-4 days ago it dried a normal-ish yellow. And now I'm seeing it drying darker...like a darker yellow slightly brown. AF is for sure on her way. =( I really wanted a holiday baby. Thanksgiving and especially Christmas. So now I don't want to TTC again until Fall.

Since that was a good sign for pp, it might be a really good sign for you too! Best wishes!

I experienced the yellow lotiony cm when I got pregnant with my first. It happened right around when I believe I implanted (7-8 dpo) and I had AF type cramps those days, and kept up well into the pregnancy. I got my +hpt at 10 dpo. So....maybe you are implanting a little later. Have you tested yet???
