Just thought I would share my story with you. With my last son I got a positive pt while at the drs getting my birth control renewed. 2 days later I started bleeding (light at first then a normal period) well since they told me my test was positive I went to the dr. I did not see the test and just knew it was a false positive or they mixed my test up. After 6 hrs and every test the dr came back to tell me I still had a baby there and he looked healthy! I went on to have a normal pregnancy. It is possible to bleed in early pregnancy! Good luck to you!

thank you for your input.ive not taken a test yet as i am not due for my period until tomorrow.i started bleeding on sunday early evening and now today it has stopped?very strange.can i ask what was your bleed like that you had?

At first it was light pink spotting but by the time I got to the doctors it was bright red and heavy! They even had to use a catherd to collect urine cause I had so much blood. It was a lot of blood! The nurse even ran in after my pap and gave me shot said I was miscarrying but after the ultrasound dr said he has no idea why I was bleeding but the baby was fine! And he was. I bled for about 3-4 days which is my normal period.

how odd,never heard of heavy bleeding before?do you remember rouchly how many days past ovulation you were when you got a bfp?i would be 13 or 14 dpo today,would of thought it was too late to be geting implantation bleed as its usually 8,9 or 10 dpo i have read.

sorry correction,i would be around 17dpo today and i would have been 13/14dpo on sunday when it started.

I am 10dpo today and on Sunday (7dpo) i had cramping and bleeding, it was orangy pink when i first noticed it, only when i wiped, and the second time it was pinkish brown and that was it, no cramping since, until today, it has been on and off, hoping no af shows tomorrow. Sounds like you had Implantation. I am testing sunday, only because i have a short lp and dont think it would show up yet, also waiting to see if she shows.

I was a week late for period when I started bleeding. It's crazy cause had I not gone to the dr to get on BC I would have just assumed it was period being late. I guess I am just odd cause with my first pregnancy I tested every day for weeks all BFN and had a neg blood when I was indeed pregnant! I was 10 weeks pregnant when I found out for him. And now trying for our 3rd praying for baby girl but it's been 4 years and nothing :(

i know how you feel mommy26,we have been trying for nearly 3 years with nothing but a chemical pregnancy back in december.I was told back in 2005 that i had pcos when i went for a scan.Ive always had irregular periods since the age of 13.I get all the classic symptoms of pcos including weight gain,mood swings,hair in unwanted places.Strange thing is though,ive been getting regular periods now for the last 5 months,and i went to the docs for some blood tests last week to see if i was indeed ovulating and to check my hormone levels for pcos and possible menapause and all came back normal indicating im ovulating and ive not got pcos or menapause?I did an ovulating test a couple of weeks ago and i got a positive on that which was a good sign.I just dont understand whats going on and why it is taking so long to fall pregnant?Very frustrating.I do hope you get your bfp very soon,please keep me posted.i will test today just to check before i see the doc tomorrow regarding going on clomid:)

So i done a first response test and it was a bfn!Looks like it was a very weired early period,so thats me out this month:( Onto yet another month.Good luck ladys with getting your bfp!:)
